BIO
Dr Ella Houston is a Senior Lecturer in Disability Studies and core member of the Centre for Culture & Disability Studies at Liverpool Hope University. She is also Book Reviews Editor for the Journal of Literary & Cultural Disability Studies and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Her book Advertising Disability (2024) is now available in paperback. She has also published research in leading journals across the fields of Disability Studies, Media Studies and Advertising.
She co-leads Liverpool Hope University's Academic Literacies Community of Practice.
